The old conventional copiers used analog technology that bounces light off the originals through a series of lenses, and then onto the drum that transfers the image onto the paper. Alternatively, our digital copiers scan the document digitally and then process it for printing. There are several key benefits to this process:
Scan Once-Print Many
Once the digital copier finishes scanning your documents, you’ll notice that it starts delivering a completed set immediately, returning your original document back without further use. New finishers that deliver one completed set at a time have replaced old sorter bin technologies, meaning that you can even start working with copies before the entire job has been completed. And you are no longer limited to 10 or 20 sets—you can make as many as you need.
Job Pre-scan
Standing in front of the copy machine and waiting for it to finish the job is a grueling experience. With the job pre-scan feature on the digital copiers, there will be no more wasting time before you can start the next job. Simply walk up and scan all the jobs, then the next job will automatically start as soon as the previous job is complete.
Unlimited Duplexing
Jobs that require high-volume production such as marketing collateral, church bulletins, or corporate newsletters can be particularly challenging for conventional copiers, which limit the number of pages that can be duplexed at one time. Instead, digital copiers, use simple single sheet duplexing, where the images are copied on the front of the page first, and then on the back right away instead of gathering sheets in the duplex tray. The job is therefore done reliably and without limitation to the number of pages you can duplex.
Enhanced Photo Copying
Despite the name they carried, the conventional photocopiers did not do a very good job copying photographic images. On the contrary, our digital copiers produce excellent copies of full color photos as well as grayscale images. You will be thoroughly pleased with the resolution and clarity they produce.
